Yellowstone National Park can be accessed from the east via I-90 to state route fourteen through Cody. From the south, visitors that are in the Jackson Hole area can access Yellowstone by driving northward through Grand Teton National Park on state route 191/287. Visitors traveling from Montana can access the park year-round by going south from Bozeman by route 191/287 through West Yellowstone. Another route from Montana available during the summer months only is by way of Red Lodge via the Beartooth Highway through Cooke City and the Silver Spur gate.
