Description

Nestled within a pine forest along a broad ridge north of Laramie Peak, Esterbook Campground is a terrific jumping-off point for recreating in the Laramie Peak Unit of the Douglas Ranger District.

Trailhead for Sunset Ridge Trail. Black Mountain Lookout is located to the south.

From Douglas, WY take Highway 94 (Esterbrook Road) south for 17 miles, then 11 miles south on County Road 5, then 3 miles east on Forest Road 633.
