Description
Trail crosses Fall Creek which can be quite deep and rushing in the spring. Hiker must seek a place to cross since there is no bridge, but there are the occasional fallen logs. The trail then passes through granite formation and switchbacks to Moose Lake where it occasionally crosses the lake outlet. Moose Lake is surrounded by scattered lodge pole, spruce fir, aspen and limber pine. If the hiker will watch closely, he may spot mountain goats, deer and marten. If he is very quiet, he may even spot these creatures and be able to get a photograph or two.
