A nice long walking trail. At the beginning of the trail you will have to cross Canjilon Creek. The creek runs rapid during the run-off season of late April to the end of May. The trail starts out level then gradually ascends to the top of the canyon. Vegetation includes pinyon-pine, sagebrush, cactus, and juniper. At the top of the canyon you will find ponderosa pine and mixed conifers.
No motorized vehicles or equipment allowed on trail or wilderness area.
