From Laramie, take Highway 130 to Albany via State Highway 11. The cabin is located 8 miles west of Albany, Wyoming on Forest Service Road 542.

In the winter, access to the cabin is 5 miles by snowmobile, skiing or snowshoeing from Albany Snowmobile Parking Lot.

Hiking, fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding and hunting can be found within the vicinity. Several trailheads are an easy drive from the cabin.
