Lander sits at the crossroads of several highway systems and is best accessed by automobile. From the south, visitors can access Lander via I-80 from the west through Rock Springs by
way of US route 191 to state route 28 or from the east through Rawlins via US route 287. From the north and west, Lander is accessed easily via US route 287 from Moran Junction
(Teton National Park) through the Wind River Indian Reservation. From the east, Lander is accessed through Casper on US route 26 via Riverton. |
